Awarded the British empire medal in her Majesty’s birthday honours list in 2017, Alan Clarke is a fellow of the National association of teachers of dancing, Latin American branch and the All Ireland board of Ballroom Dancing , Ballroom branch. He is also an honorary member of the world dance council as well as Global ambassador to the WDC amateur league. The Clarke school of dancing was established by his parents in 1958 and joined himself with the introduction of Saturday night fever in 1978 and today has reached its 66th year

Classes We Offer
BALLROOM, LATIN, HIP-HOP, KPOP,
Social Ballroom & Latin
Having served the community for 65 years we pride ourselves in being able to create an atmosphere of calm where you can leave the troubles of the day behind .
Hip-Hop & Kpop
Our Hip Hop classes are available at various times and range from the K.Pop style for Adults or our children classes ranging from 3yrs +
Our classes comprise of a number of different styles of dance from the traditional Ballroom and Latin to fun dances and modern sequence
We provide classes for
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced and these classes are Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday, different times available. Enrolment for these classes are generally January and September but we suggest you contact us in advance to add your interest to our list and we will contact you when we are ready to enrol.
Our classes are Thursday 6.00pm till 7.00pm
for Hip.Hop, 7.00pm till 8.00pm Kpop .
Our junior age group 7yrs + and our tots class 3yrs - 6yrs have been postponed until April. We charge £5 per person for the children's class and there is a £5 enrolment fee at the beginning of each term. Contact Tasha end of march for restart of children's classes.

You supply us with the information re venue and music and we will help provide a painless routine to perform on that special day. Do not leave this important detail to chance as the old penguin rock looks terrible. Trust me I'm a professional!

Our school provides the opportunity to all our pupils to gain more experience through practise. Our social events are a great chance for all our classes no matter what level you are to get together to enjoy an evening of chat and dancing to gain experience. Our events are mainly social but sometimes we also Provide formal occasions allowing you to dress up and enjoy a great atmosphere.
